Food Dialog Card Game

The Food Dialog Card Game contains teaching instructions and a handy student handout for 24 common food items by supermarket section plus 8 card decks on different-coloured card stock. (You need 2 decks per group of 3 to 5 students.)
To play, students take turns asking another student in the group where a food item is based on a card they have. For example, S1 says, Excuse me, where are the carrots? If S1 has the same card, they say, The carrots? They’re in the produce section. But if he doesn’t have the same card, he must give a negative answer: The carrots? I’m sorry, I don’t know. There are dialog suggestions for Levels 1 to 3, along with substitution suggestions for asking for location, and expressing and responding to thank-yous.
Objective: oral fluency in asking for location of food in a supermarket using count/non-count and expressing and responding to thank-yous.
